REGISTRATION DEADLINE

APRIL 29 2019

The Pursuit of Excellence Hockey Academy (POE) is hosting a showcase and open house May 3 - 5 for players interested in playing for POE in the CSSHL for the 2019-2020 season.  Players have the opportunity to skate four times and be shown a sample day at POE.  Coaches from the academy from all the teams will be on hand instructing at the on and off ice sessions along with evaluating potential players for next season.

The Pursuit of Excellence Hockey Academy has been developing skills both on and off the ice for hockey players wanting to reach the next level for over 15 years. This could be your opportunity to experience POE and see how it could help your son reach their potential.

There are 3 reasons why you should think about sending your son or daughter to POE:

1) Hockey Development - With 2 hours of ice time and 2 hours of off-ice training each weekday, and games almost every weekend, you will see amazing development happening throughout the season.  And, unlike many other academies who finish at the end of the season in March, POE runs until the end of June, so your son or daughter gets an additional 3 months of 4 hours a day hockey development.

2) Academics - Academics are also very important at POE, and your son or daughter will go to George Elliott Secondary School, which is the highest ranked public high school associated with a Hockey Academy in BC, as rated by the Fraser Institute.

3) Development as a person - POE's slogan is Skills for Hockey, Values for Life. Your child's development as a hockey player is very important, but we also feel that the development of kids as people is just as important.  This is embodied by our President Dave Roy, who is constantly looking for ways to bring life values to the kids, such as our POE and Hockey Life classes that are held every 2 weeks.
