Below are just a few of the responces we have received from players who have attended our program.
"In the 2005/06 year as a 15 year old, I attended the Pursuit of Excellence Hockey Academy. While attending the Pursuit Academy, I became a stronger person, a better skater, stronger in academics, and learned life skills. During that year I also played on the BC Outback (a Senior AAA Women's team). Throughout that year, my coach for the BC Outback commented each game on how much more I was improving through the Pursuit of Excellence program.
.Over the past year, I have received offers from all 31 Division 1 University hockey teams. I have chosen to pursue my dreams at Boston University. I have been recognized by my skating skills and I have also been told that I am a strong skater by the Canadian Women's Olympic team's head scout.
I'd like to thank Dave Roy, Dave C, Todd, and Dean for all their help. I have a goal to play on the Women's National Olympic Hockey team for Canada and I strongly believe that the Pursuit of Excellence has helped me and has led me in the right direction to achieve this goal. This program will help anyone if they are willing to focus on becoming a better hockey player. They will develop confidence and learn many new life skills. It was the most memorable year of my life."

"I attended the Pursuit Academy 2nd year Bantam not knowing what to expect. I decided to take a year off from minor hockey and focus on refining my skills as a person and as a player. I had attended Edge of Excellence skating schools in the past, and felt what they had to offer would help me achieve my goals. It turned out to be the best year of my life.
During that year, I improved my hockey skills immensely. In addition to that, I met lifetime friends from all over the world, and more importantly, became a better person. It was such a good year, I decided to come back the following year in my first year midget and it proved to be just as much a successful year for me as a hockey player and a person.
The following year, I played with the Westside Midget AAA Warriors. Our team won the regular season league and I led my team in points. I received the John Boscha Memorial Trophy for the most valuable Midget rep player in the OMAHA league. I also received the Simran Sahota memorial trophy as top Defenseman for Westside Minor Hockey. Our team was also able to participate in the Kelowna Tim Horton's International Midget Tournament. I was selected to the All Star Team for the tournament.
This season, I am playing for the Westside Warriors Junior A team. I am the leading defenseman in points for the team. I have had scholarship interest from such schools as Wisconsin, New Hampshire and North Dakota. I was selected to the CJAHL Prospects Game, held in Winkler Mannitoba which was a great experience. I was also selected to the BCHL All Star team.
None of this would have been possible without the help of Dave Roy and his many coaches, Todd, Dean and Dave. This program is first class and dedicated to excellence for those players that want to move onto the next level of hockey and life. "

"I just wanted to thank all of you so much for helping me throughout last year. It has really made an impact in my life.
In regards to hockey, I was put on the starting lineup on the Phillips Exeter Varsity hockey team this past season, ahead of even the captain. I scored the most points for defense (13 or 14 out of 28.) On my other team, Chelmsfod U19s, I scored only a few points but definitely had a more active role on the team.
My study habits and attitude have also improved (My grades went from Bs to mostly As and A-s), as well as my work ethic and other things. I feel that my spiritual life has also been helped greatly by your program. Although I had been a Christian before I was in Pursuit, I was not very involved in my faith. The videos and lectures that you gave really helped me. I cannot thank you enough for helping me to place God in the center of my life, and I have never been happier.
Thank you so much and keep doing what you did last year!"

"Dear Pursuit of Excellence, this is Phil Jones, good news I just got back from a tryout up in Greeley Colorado. It went great it was by far the best I've ever played in my life. I got awesome reviews from all the coaches at this tryout and thanks to you guy's I made U16 midget AAA (Wranglers - used to be the Outlaws). This team last year was ranked 15th in the entire country (U18s) and I can't thank you enough. You guy's are unbelievable coaches and great guy's. After just one year of playing for you I went from in-house to AAA. Thanks again and keep on being great coaches. I hope to see you again soon."
