This past February, over 1400 athletes took part in the 2008 BC Winter Games in Kimberley and Cranbrook. These athletes are amongst the best in the province in their respected age categories and sports. It is highly likely that some of these athletes will eventually pursue their athletic dreams to the Western Canada Summer Games, the Canada Games or other national events and even the international stage.
